Celebrity houses: Adrienne Vittadini

Probably many do not know Adrienne VittadiniAt least I didn't know her, but of course, after seeing her house, I couldn't resist telling you about her, even if it's not so famous like other characters we have talked about in this series.

She is a designer, and has her own brand since 1979, since then she has been designing to produce stylish garments and first quality materials, so, although she does not work in haute couture, she usually dresses people who, in a manner of speaking, they have a purchasing power greater than mine.

Well, this designer has a house that is currently for sale in Water Mill, in New York, a house deluxe, but from which as you will see in the images we can also get some ideas. It has 5 bedrooms, several terraces, patios and lounges, in addition to a large area of land around it.

But we go with what we are interested in decor. What has caught my attention the most is the shape of their bedrooms, I will talk to you today and later I will show you images of the rest of the house, since from my point of view they deserve a separate attention.

If you look at the images, each one is totally different from the other. But it is not only that they are different, what catches my attention is that they have achieved it only by using colors and textiles, it is an idea of how with simple things we can totally change a room (although I know in this case they are not exactly simple ...).

In all the bedrooms the classic style reigns with pieces of wood with aspect in many cases old, hunting images (like the deer that you can see on one of the closets) and pieces of old cut like the armchairs.

However all rooms are totally different:

The blue room, lighter and brighter, more serene, where white and blue indigo abounds are in light vertical strokes.

From here what we can get is the benefit of joining two light colors in an environment where there is so much light, and is open to the outside.

The red room Much more daring and feminine. With a four-poster bed and where white has also been used to mitigate the effects of red. In this case, red has been used by means of prints.

The beige room where lighter prints have been used but if you allow me the error of mixing them, I personally hate it. Or pictures or flowers but never pictures and flowers and less if you have several pictures of different sizes.

And the orange room, other errorThe room has been too overloaded due to the finish it has given to the walls through hunting images.

In the first place, orange is a color that needs an opponent that dims it to prevent it from transmitting unpleasant sensations. Secondly, having chosen not a plain color but a print has managed to multiply instead of diminishing those feelings.

In all rooms the same shade of color has been used in addition to white for all textiles and except in the case of beige, in all there are in addition to curtains a chair printed with the same fabric, which gives it a continuity to decoration, something we can also do in our homes with our textiles.
