I'm sorry for the fans of fashion designers Victorio & Lucchino, but the Fifth floor The hotel is one of the least liked of the whole complex.
Either because of the decoration of the common spaces and the rooms, which clashes with the rest of the hotel, or because of the furniture or distribution chosen, the truth is that I saw it a bit out of place.
But well, it is a personal appreciation due to my particular taste, which tends to the minimalist, but it is clear that it has its audience, and surely many also like it.
Let's go to see her:
Victorio & Lucchino
Victorio, José Víctor Rodríguez Caro, and Lucchino, José Luís Medina del Corral, are all known for being two of the great Fashion designers of our country.
They began their journey in the fashion world at the end of the 70s, in Seville. In 1985, and after the great success of his business, they were encouraged to create their first collection and present it in a parade in New York. From then on, they began presenting their two Prêt-á-Porter collections annually.
After fulfilling their objectives in the world of fashion and accessories, they have continued to open new doors to other markets, and have designed jewelry, elaborated perfumes and collaborated in plays and movies.
You can see other of his designs on his website: Victorio & Lucchino
Lobby and hallway
When we disembarked on the fifth floor, we found a lobby chaired by two, questionable at least, white marble sphinxes from the designers collection.
For the walls and the floor, black is chosen, lacquered on the walls and aged stone for the floor. Finally, red velvet armchairs finish configuring the lobby of fashion designers.
In the hallways a black carpet is used, which contrasts with the beige velvet of the walls. Plaster pens reinforce the baroque touch of the decoration. The numbers of each room, in rubber, are supported by a steel background, undoubtedly the most avant-garde detail of the plant.
In the rooms, the designers were looking for a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere and for this they use materials such as cottons, linens, velvets, among others, which have been used for the creation of bedspreads, curtains and cushions, for example.
The furniture, also by the designers, is presented in black and distributes the room in a classic way, with the desk next to the bed. On the wall of the headboard of the bed, hangs an exclusive and unrepeatable work for each room, prepared by the artist Sergio Cruz.
As I say, the ones I liked least, and not because it is poorly decorated, far from it, simply because I think it fits with the general style of the hotel.
And this time, not one, but two videos, and a gallery, where to see the fifth floor of the hotel.
