Boomerang desk, a very modern classic

Maybe some of you already know the desk Boomerang, but if it is not so and if I tell you that it is a design of the last collection of some firm of today you probably believe me, both for the form, for the color and the finish this work table is really modernist and nevertheless its creation dates from 1969 and corresponds to Maurice Calka, certainly well ahead of its time.

This proposal was a great revolution in its time, the furniture is manufactured with fiberglass which at that time was not usual, color intense, although it was also manufactured in white and more neutral tones, finished brightness and a way that made it become an icon of the decoration and collector's piece, possibly it has served as a source of inspiration to many creators years later, these furniture never ceases to amaze me that forty years later, neither more nor less, continue being rabid today.

It is rumored that a company of Singapore This original piece will be re-manufactured in several units, which has been achieved thanks to the collaboration of the creator's son, surely the price it will be prohibitive and only within the reach of a few, there is even talk of numbered pieces, but for me it will be a pleasure to see it again even if I cannot buy it.
