Geberit Duofresh, an odor extractor hidden in the push button

The odor extraction In a bathroom without a window, it is usually carried out through the ventilation shunt, either by means of the grid installed for this purpose or with the support of an extractor that is usually activated when the general light is turned on. In cases where there is no shunt, or if it is difficult to access, we also have extractors that work with activated carbon filters available in the market, in the same way as cooker hoods.

The new odor extraction system Geberit Duofresh It also works like this, but with a very important innovation, it is integrated in the button Sigma 40 for embedded tanks.

The complete system combines the Geberit Sigma 40 button with the Geberit Duofix frame and an odor extraction unit. The button houses behind its plate space for the activated carbon filter of the odor extraction unit that the frame has incorporated.

As we can see in the image a hidden button at the top of the button activate the extractor of smells The air is then extracted through the toilet, cleaned through the filter and returned to the bathroom, through the button, without bad odors and completely clean.

I don't know what it will look like to you, but in my opinion this new odor extraction system hidden in the button is another point in favor to seriously consider the installation of a built-in cistern.
