Before and after: in the living room, less carpet and more light

Perhaps separately some of the things in this room could have a pass, some of them even a certain charm. But all together and with that curtain and that carpet that subtract so much light, make the space totally collapsed and make the room seem much smaller than it really is.

It is obvious that in this room a great change is needed, you have to change the furniture, remove that carpet and renew the floor, change the curtains ... In short, you have to remove everything and start from scratch, although that does not imply that you have to forget its essence. You can get a balance between the old and the modern, introducing new things in the room but keeping some antiques, so let's see how it looks.

The result is more than excellent, in fact the simple fact of removing the carpet and changing it to a wooden floor in sight and changing the curtains to get more light, is already an excellent change. But in this case the furniture has also been changed, they have been chosen old things combined with more modern ones and it has been played with the colors on the wall and the cushions of the sofas, the renovation has been complete and the living room seems much more spacious.
