Spaces that inspire: youth bedroom in magenta and gray

After childhood, parents see each other in the position of having to redecorate our children's bedrooms. Sometimes the decision can fall totally on the side of the kids but most of the time it is the parents who have the last word. The truth is that the ideal is to reach a consensus solution between both parties, so today I bring you a youth bedroom in magenta and gray That will delight parents and children.

In this bedroom the first thing that is obvious is that there are a slightly difficult partition that we have enough space left, so it has been decided "hide" the bed behind the. I like how here, unlike other bedrooms, we have the smooth gray impact wall, while the rest of the walls are covered with wallpaper as a soup of letters (I have found the word "Barcelona" although surely you you see some other).

Observe how the color note is put on the shelves that cover all the walls and are magenta. In fact, on the other wall of the room, which you can see on these lines, you can see the study table that is of the same material and the same thickness as the shelves, which have been placed saving the column to give continuity even to the other side.

On the shelves have been enhanced blank details although inevitably it is books (each of his father and his mother) that give color. I especially like the cactus pots on the table and the balls that you have repeated on the left. In this part of the room the partitions are gray and it has been the column that has been papered to highlight it, in a rather bold decorative decision.

The lighting of the room is in charge of built-in lights that just did not convince me, although on the headboard we have two sconces that can help make the environment more welcoming. A success has been to place two of the ceiling lights over the study area where, as you well know, all lighting is welcome.

In short, it seems to me a pretty successful decoration for a youth bedroom, fleeing from the topics of the rock star posters but with a lot of personality. I especially like the detail that the stuffed animals have not been removed that, although they clash with the rest of the decoration, gives the room a touch of personality that touches me.

Work spaces: up the color with Lolo Polos Artesanos

There are businesses that are perfect. That is what happens with 'Lolo Polos Artesanos'. A curious and fun ice cream shop where they sell handmade fruit poles without dyes, preservatives or other artificial substances, famous already in Malasaña for the phrase 'Don't call me polo, call me Lolo'.
